Our Mission
AAS Equipment Appraisal services various entities by providing appraisal values as well as salvage management for farm and construction related equipment and machinery. We deliver detailed evaluations based on concise investigations in an expeditious manner. Our expertise allows us to partner with clientele in presenting professional reporting while completing extensive reviews with open communication throughout the process.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN OUR SERVICES?
1. Establish Opportunity
Contact us for a FREE consult via phone or email including a brief set of photos and/or documents to determine if we can assist in your appraisal needs.
2. Investigate Equipment
Working with a field adjuster or provided documentation and photos, we begin to investigate and identify the equipment and obtain specifications, values and comparables specific to the location in review.
3. Communicate
We handle contact with all parties throughout the process, as needed, in order to obtain details on the equipment - location of equipment, equipment documentation, damage reports, repair estimates, replacement bids, storage and towing facilities and any other information pertinent to the investigation.
4. Evaluate Information
Once we have obtained all of the necessary information, we begin to evaluate the equipment details to determine the "actual cash value" or "specified value" to present to our clientele.
5. Provide Reporting
After we have evaluated the information from our investigation, we provide a "first report" and "summary" to our clientele. This reporting would include the agreed to value, details of the research, communication summaries and formal appraisal.
6. Process Salvage Sale
Our final step, when requested to handle, is managing the salvage sale. We typically set up sale through an online auction company. After the listing is up and auction is complete, the auction company remits payment and we submit with "final report" to our clientele.
